AAAA is committed to the ethical and competent practice of adoption and ART law and advocates for legislation that supports the best interests of children and families.
Barbara’s nomination is a reflection of her decades of practice, her leadership in surrogacy and donor agreements, and her deeply personal understanding of adoption. In addition to her adoption and ART-focused legal work, she serves as Co-Chair of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) Committee within AAAA and has long been recognized for her clear, compassionate, and client-centered approach.
