Florida State Employee, Veteran, and Service Member Adoption Benefits

Florida law (§409.1664, Florida Statutes) extends adoption benefits to qualifying state employees, veterans, and service members who adopt through the state’s child welfare system. Eligible families may receive:

$10,000 per child with special needs
$5,000 per child without special needs

Military Subsidy
