Adoption Guidance in Palm Beach County’s Legal Hub

West Palm Beach is the administrative center of Palm Beach County, and many families here look for adoption guidance that is both high-level and deeply personal. Whether you are considering private adoption, a stepparent adoption, or pursuing permanency through DCF, you deserve representation that combines legal precision with human understanding.

Our team represents West Palm Beach clients through virtual consultations and statewide travel. You can receive dedicated legal support without needing a physical office in the city—because what matters most is having an experienced Florida adoption law team guiding your case with structure and care.

If I didn’t have Tate Healey Webster involved, I really don’t think I would have gotten the adoption and I might have actually lost my grandson.

Adoption Is a Legal Process—But It’s Also a Promise

Florida adoption law includes specific requirements designed to protect children and ensure ethical outcomes. That means details matter: documentation, consent procedures, notices, court scheduling, and compliance with statutory steps. We handle the legal framework while supporting your family’s emotional journey with calm, clear direction.

Adoption Services in West Palm Beach

Private and Infant Adoptions

We assist adoptive parents and birth mothers in private placement adoptions, managing legal filings, consent requirements, and court preparation. Our goal is to ensure the adoption is secure, ethical, and handled with respect for everyone involved.

Stepparent Adoptions

When a stepparent has become a child’s consistent source of care, adoption can provide legal stability and long-term protection. We guide families through the Florida process with an emphasis on clarity and efficiency.

Relative and Kinship Adoption

Many Palm Beach County adoptions involve relatives stepping in to provide a stable home. We help grandparents and extended family members pursue legal adoption with thoughtful guidance tailored to your situation.

Foster Care and Dependency Adoption

If a child is part of the dependency system, adoption may require navigating DCF procedures and court hearings. Our team understands those systems and helps caregivers and relatives pursue permanency.

LGBTQ+ Adoptions

We proudly serve LGBTQ+ families across Palm Beach County, providing inclusive adoption representation and guidance aligned with Florida law.

Interstate and Agency Adoptions

If the adoption crosses state lines, ICPC compliance can affect timing and placement. We coordinate the legal steps required for lawful interstate adoption and work collaboratively with agencies as needed.

We had a wonderful experience adopting our son from foster care thanks to Tate Healey Webster! Erica Healey and her team were not only knowledgeable, but were also so supportive and excited to be a part of our son’s story. They were very prompt, responsive, and even after adoption was finalized were still there to answer questions we had. I can’t recommend them enough!

I want to let everyone know that I highly recommend this firm. I had an extremely strange case. Just about anything and everything that could’ve went wrong… went wrong. This all happened before I got in touch with THW law firm. I started my professional relationship with them when I emailed them in a complete panic. Everyone at the law firm went out of their way for me, and at that time, I wasn’t even a client. Then I was assigned the dynamic duo, Erica and Meredith. My case took a long time due to COVID and strategic maneuvers on our part. I finally was able to officially adopt my grandson on May 12,2025.
This law firm is not cheap, but you get what you pay for with attorneys, so you don’t want the cheapest one. Also, remember to trust the process. They are the experts and know what they’re doing even if it may not seem so in your layman’s eyes.

We had the best experience with Tate, Healey, and Webster Adoption attorneys. Briana was extremely helpful, putting us at ease the entire time through the process. Today was adoption day and both the attorney and Judge were just   as excited as we were, making it a memorable experience and many happy tears! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this dream come true for our family!!
